Congratulations to local girl Alison Young, from Bewdley, for becoming the Women’s Laser Radial World Champion 2016!
Alison, a member of the British Sailing Team, beat the American Paige Railey by just one point to take the Championship this April on the Pacific Coast of Mexico on the waters of the large Banderas Bay.
The bay is open to the west and is approximately 15 miles wide by 30 miles deep. See Alison in action at:
